The Friday before Thanksgiving we visited Monroeville Mall and to my surprise there was no play area.  I don’t know about you mamas, but no play area at a mall means we don’t go to that mall.  Well thank God for Fisher Price as they are teaming up with the Monroeville Mall team to unveil their brand new Toy Box play area featuring larger-than-life-Fisher-Price toys and characters on Friday, December 4 at 11:00 am.  This life-size toy box will be in the Lower Level Macy’s Wing and the opening celebration will kick off at 11am with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a special appearance from Santa Claus.

You know us mamas are going to be spending large amount of times at Monroeville Mall this holiday season.  It’s great that our kiddos will be able to take break from the rigors of shopping at the new play space.  Pittsburgh’s Monroeville Mall will be one of the first malls to debut this type of play space.  For that reason, Fisher Price is partnering with Brown Mamas for a special giveaway.  From now until Thursday, December 3rd @ midnight enter to win a Fisher Price Chatter Telephone and three Thomas & Friends Mini Trains.
