blog 6 Kid-Friendly Netflix Shows You Can with Your Family

Looking for kid-friendly Netflix shows?  You’re in the right place.  My family loves Netflix, so we’re always looking for the latest shows to watch on weekends and for family movie night.  Instead of searching for kid-friendly Netflix shows on your own, Brown Mamas has you covered.  Check out our list.

The Flash

It’s action, packed PG goodness.  If you’ve got boys they will love, love this series. Plus, there’s a whole season worth of shows.

Seventeen Again

If you’ve got girls, nothing is better than Tia & Tamara Mowry.  My two sisters and I loved Sister, Sister when we were growing up.  The great news is that Seventeen Again includes the whole Mowry family.  It’s 1 hour and 36 minutes long.

A Different World

Six seasons of a different world will make sure your kids go to college.  Most of us parents loved this show growing up.  Take this snowy day to introduce your pre-teens to the wonderful world of the HBCU college experience.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Don’t rule it out just because it’s animation.  This animated series chronicling the life of a young Luke Skywalker can keep both kids and adults entertained. My boys love this kid-friendly Netflix show. When my boys are watching it I have a hard time walking away. Star Wars: The Clone Wars from Summer76music on Vimeo.   [big_title2]The Gabby Douglas Story[/big_title2] Wanna get serious?  This is a great film for older kids, pre-teens and teens.  I found this one just browsing and tells about the life Gabby Douglas, the first black gymnast to win the Individual All-Around Championship at the Olympics.   [big_title2]On the Way to School[/big_title2] This is an Awesome film.  If your kids have ever said they didn’t want to go to school, have them watch this show to help them realize how lucky they are to get to travel safely to school everyday.
