It’s officially autumn mamas!  So let’s fall into some meet-ups.  Pittsburgh Brown Mamas is a support group for Black moms in the Pittsburgh region. Our sole mission is to connect Black moms in Pittsburgh with the resources, knowledge and community that will allow them to enjoy their motherhood journey and experience Pittsburgh as the nation’s most livable city.  So, here are your chances to connect with your tribe during the month of October.

PBM Blackout

Ever feel like your the only brown mama at the museum, science center or even at the park?  If you are home during the day and don’t want to feel like the odd man out, join PBM for a Blackout.  Pittsburgh Brown Mamas host a blackout each month where we invite Black moms to come out in droves and build a community of inclusiveness outside of our communities.  This month’s Blackout will be at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Garden.  We will meet at Phipps @ 10 am.  Come join us!

PBM Talks

Let’s talk it out mamas.  Dinner and a movie with the mamas.  Let’s meet at the Lowe’s at the Waterfront to see a movie and then head over to the restaurant of our choosing to chew and chat.  The 3rd Friday of each month will be our  time to get to know our fellow mamas, enjoy stimulating conversation around issues that affect us brown mamas & get away from the kids.  Join us!  8 pm @ the Lowes Movie Theater at the Watefront, BE THERE!
