STEMPower in the Park

Imagine, design and create at the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s STEMPOWER in the Park! YMCA educators invite families to join them in Frick Park to tinker with robots, create stop-motion animation, mix some beats, make light-up accessories and explore other interests in science, technology, engineering and math. Strip District World Fair

Join us for food, music, crafts and fun from around the world as the Strip District World Festival celebrates the cultures of Pittsburgh’s melting pot.  A cross-section of top-notch entertainment spanning a variety of genres will be featured. A Fair in the Park

Celebrate Pittsburgh’s fine artisans at the 47th Annual A Fair in the Park at Mellon Park in Shadyside. Shop the works of more than 100 artisans from Pittsburgh and across the country on Friday, Sep. 9 from 1 – 7 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here to learn more.

Alphabet Tails & Trails

Join Citiparks for the annual Alphabet Trail and Tales, a free early and elementary aged literacy event for the entire family. Each year, Alphabet Trail and Tales presents the best in children’s books. Interactive, hand-painted story sets create a backdrop for a day of reading and fun.
