Rec2Tech Demo Party

Recreation is meeting technology in Pittsburgh, and the city is throwing a party to celebrate! Enjoy free food, music, and fun activities. The first 300 kids in attendance get a Rec2Tech backpack filled with goodies.

Waterfront Fall Festival

Come celebrate fall at The Waterfront, with festive fun for the whole family.  Festivities include a free pumpkin patch, live music, free activities, food vendors and the annual running of the dogs race from 2-3 pm.

American Girl Pop-Up Store

The American Doll Store will open a temporary location at Ross Park Mall.  Beginning one hour before store opening on Saturday and Sunday, American Girl will distribute entrance tickets for that day.  American Girl will be hosting a craft and a drawing for a free Lea Clark Girl of the Year doll and book. There will be one giveaway on Saturday and one giveaway on Sunday.

Fall Activities & Hayrides Begin at Simmons Farm

Rubber duck races, five acres of pumpkins, a hay maze and a 100 ft. slide and small fire truck slide are just a few of the activities available at Simmons Farm’s annual, weekly fall festivities.  Simmons Farm kicks off its annual fall season this weekend.  Looking for a date night?  Try the nightly hayrides available Monday thru Saturday.

ALCOSAN Open House

Saturday, September 17, 2016 marks the return of ALCOSAN’s annual award-winning Open House event, FREE and open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine!  Join us for the region’s largest watershed and environmental festival, featuring hands-on environmental exhibits, treatment plant and laboratory tours, microbiology and watershed life demonstrations, and educational activities for all ages!
