I know you made a New Year’s resolution to eat healthy, but that’s all the more reason to join us Brown Mamas in a 6 Weeks of Baking Challenge.  I’m so excited about this great chance to eat homemade snacks instead of Oreo cookies & store-brought cake.  For the next 6 weeks I am challenging myself to bake without burning and I’d love for some brown mamas to join me in the ride.

From cakes to pies, casseroles and pizza, you can bake whatever you want for the next 6 weeks, post your pics in our Brown Mamas Baking Challenge Facebook group and join us at our final meet-up to share your favorite recipe from your six weeks of work.  If you’re not in Pittsburgh, that’s cool.  Host your own baking finale meet-up and invite other mamas in your area to share their baked (not burnt) goods with you.  This is all just really my excuse to attend an event where I don’t have to do anything but make and taste really sweet treats.   The baking challenge will run from January 10th until February 14th (the day before Valentine’s day).  So here’s how it works:
