
Got girls? Then you and your daughter need to be at this STEM Event on Saturday, Feb. 18th. Girls who like STEM will have a ball at the
Society of Women Engineer’s Design Lab. The event will include hands-on STEM activities for girls and a parent workshop that will equip parents with information on getting their daughters admitted to STEM programs in college and financial aid. Here are the details.

- Work with local SWE members on hands-on engineering activities
- Meet real engineers and learn what they do
- Make new friends
- Get a SWE t-shirt, bag and lots of other goodies
- Be eligible to win raffle prizes
Parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, administrators and leaders are encouraged to participate in the PEP. The program will run from 2pm – 5pm. Participants are asked to stay for the entire program.
